Ordained Teacher of Davidic Praise and Worship

Rev. Dr. Nadyne Wilds-Gilbert is the daughter of the late Mr. Samuel B. Wilds and Dr. Gertie Farmer Wilds.  She received the Lord at a very early age in her home state of North Carolina. Rev. Nadyne sang in choirs and played for various churches as a young girl and as a teenager. She was given this scripture very early in life by her mother who was a devout Christian, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).Most significantly, her mother and father taught her the ways of the Lord and the importance of loving and fearing God.

Dr. Gilbert received her Bachelor’s in Education, Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision,and a Ph.D in Religious Studies. She has been ministering for many years.  Also, Dr. Gilbert has had a wonderful, rewarding career teaching children.

Rev. Nadyne is a recipient of the Presidential Award for Science and Math Teaching from the White House and the National Science Foundation, Class of 1999. Her certificate is signed byformer President William Jefferson Clinton.  She received $7,500 for the science education of her students.

Dr. Gilbert has served in the following ministries: Worship Leader, Worship Coordinator, Bible College Teacher, Altar Counselor, Deaconess, Adult Choir Member, and Director of the Children’s Choir. While serving as a worship leader, she was encouraged to attend several International Worship Symposiums which were held in various cities, by her pastor, the late Bishop Clarence C. Givens of Rhema Christian Center, North East Washington D.C. He and his wife, Pastor Doris Givens, expressed the desire to go deeper and higher in worship. Rev. Nadyne was given the charge to learn and bring the biblical instruction back to the church. God used her to teach and birth the elements of Davidic Praise and Worship into the church.

She has studied under the anointed biblical instruction and tutelage of Rev. Dr. E. Charlotte Baker (Dec.) (The Eagle of “Praise and Worship”, author of 2 books “Eye of the Needle “and “On Eagles’ Wings”; Dr. Baker is a pioneer of the teaching of banners, flags, and processions); Dr. Fushia Picket (Dec.); Dr. Ione Glaser (Dec.); Pastor Barry Griffing and Rev. Steve Griffing, along with many others. God used these powerful, anointed ministers to pioneer the teaching of the Restoration of the Tabernacle of David. (1 Samuel:6, Chronicles 15-16, Isaiah 16:5, Amos 9:11, and Acts 15:16).

Dr. Gilbert is a member of Manna Church at 6330 Executive Pl., Fayetteville, NC. She is involved in ministry at the church.

As a child, Rev. Gilbert was given this scripture from her mother, Dr. Gertie Farmer-Wilds which states in Matthew 22:37, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
